- Description: Provides eight fire stations within Marin County. Protects and educates the community and responds to emergencies. Provides a temporary safe refuge to any child or adult victim. Services include:
- Administration Division- budget management, accounts payable and receivable. Management of tax-based revenue, contract management, complying with subpoena requests, and administrative duties
- Fire Prevention and Investigation Division- supervised by the Fire Marshal. Is charge with minimizing or preventing damage. To life and assets as a result of a fire. The Fire Prevention Bureau develops model fire codes and fire prevention standards
- Emergency Medical Services Division- Offers residents paramedics trained in cutting edge life-saving technologies. Kept current by ongoing training. All fire engines are equip with the most up-to-date equipment. Enabling all fire personnel to assist in medical emergency calls.
